Why Travel With Me?

All of the locations Open Seas Expeditions visits have a personal connection to my growth as a diver and I want to show you what makes them so special! I care about the places we will be visiting, the wildlife in those areas, and the local crew that will accompany us.

It is incredibly important to me that every Open Seas Expedition is the best for you and for the ocean. While interactions with wildlife are never guaranteed, they are highly likely. However, we will be viewing wild animals and therefore have no control over what their behavior will be. All wildlife interactions are the animals' choice. We will not chase or harass wildlife for the sake of an interaction. All interactions will be made following the rules and guidelines of your guides. The opportunity to view wildlife in water will only be possible if it is safe for both the animals and the clients.

Small Groups

Small groups ensures the best experience possible for everyone. I want to get to know each and every person that joins my trips and keeping it small means we can all make better lifelong connections with one another. Plus small groups are also better for our in-water experiences! Wildlife often feels more comfortable with less people in the water so keeping it small is the best way to score epic encounters!

Expert Guides

Since I've worked on the water as a guide and photographer for the last seven years, I know what to look for when it comes to ensuring we are with the best local guides and ensuring the safest and most amazing interactions. We will be hiring local guides & captains in each location to accompany us on the water. Their years of experience on the ocean and local knowledge of the area and wildlife will ensure that we have the best experience possible.

Supporting The Ocean

Ocean conservation is extremely important to me. Not only will we try our hardest to only leave a positive impact on the locations we travel to, I also want to support organizations that are helping the ocean. A portion of the profits for each expedition will be donated towards conservation and research organizations aimed at helping and learning more about the ocean. Your trip will have an impact!
